Anniston/Gadsden's 98.3 and 105.9 Pair Up Together

During the Easter holiday weekend, I was at my in-law's in Alex City. I was listening to the car stereo, when I came across WTRB-FM, or what used to be. It's now WTXO, simulcasting WFXO (formerly WRHY in Centre at 105.9) with a mainstream rock format as "Rock 98.3/Rock 105.9". I found some info on R&R about it. Looks as though this is "old news" since the switch occured on March 14, but here's the link to it if anyone is interested.

Just going by coverage maps, it doesn't appear that either station will put all that good a signal into Anniston, though.

(I don't know why that would be important, though.)
