Heard an announcer on HANK today. His name is Andy and he called his show the all request more music morning show. Did anyone else hear him and what did you think?

Heard the new guy around 8AM as he was coming out of "what happens in Mexico stays in Mexico"......with birthday music playing in the background he is asking for jail tales or wild adventures and talks about getting arrested in a Mexican border town....while at the same time complaining that he has not received any birthday's from the audience, he say's "I can't believe no one out there has or knows someone who has a birthday!" He continues by saying "we don't have much but I'll give you a t-shirt"....then he catches himself and says "but it's a cool t-shirt"
He has a pretty good voice, but probably a little green and I am sure he's a bit nervous...Hey, it's not easy trying to create excitment all by yourself, especially when there is no energy to feed off of. I wish him the best of luck because he has a very tough mountain to climb, with little or no rope to climb it with.

Andy was a nice guy that worked for archway about 2 or 3 weeks. He may of had a bad on-air break but his exit of Archway was funny...here's how it went down...
The head bitch rolled into town after 2 or 3 weeks of him being the ONLY jock...(he did the morning show and programed). The guy just got there, he was trying to get that station on track...had no clue about the area (he was trying) and he had his hands VERY FULL...so she rolls in, GRILLS him about some stupid FREE event that was last on the list of important things to worry about at that time...keep in mind that this was their first face to face meeting...and this clueless [EDIT] (who has no idea how bad it is there) says....THIS IS THE BEST WE CAN DO AT THIS EVENT? (It was a free event) WHY HAVEN'T YOU BRAINSTORMED AND THOUGHT THIS THROUGH? (KEEP IN MIND THAT IT WAS A FREE EVENT AND THE STATION HAS NO JOCKS...JUST HIM) She continues to grill him and everyone else about this lame ass FREE event...He stands up...looks at the GM and says "I don't have to take this [EDIT] then looks at her and says...[EDIT] AND WALKS OUT...Nobody has heard from Andy since....

This is what I am talking about when I say....don't worry about the losers at Archway. Especially the wench who thinks she is a CEO and who has made decisions based on the lies of three people (two of which are history) who either outright lied or misrepresented the facts on many matters, protecting themselves while playing their "CEO" like an idiot in the process and then laughing about it in public.
Treating Andy like that has no place in today's radio....I heard the guy on the air and I think he would have been just fine. The fact that she had someone who would take the gig in the first place should have been viewed as a gift from the radio gods. The way she treated him and treats others, clearly indentifies what she is!
Also, her personnel decisions and the way she deals with people is more than adequate proof that she has no clue as to the level of credibility with which Archway is perceived by both the advertising and broadcasting communities.
I guess she has some how convinced herself that Archway is a destination target for up and coming broadcasters as opposed to the graveyard it turly has become.
People like her catch it in the bumper and she'll be no exception...
