Announcing my Retirement from The Community Radio Board

The reason is simple:...and I will admit:1. I started the arguement over AM tx kits: we resolved this but it keeps up.2. Now EDM: All I wanted to do was talk about a great Fm tx.....problems because I opened my mouth.3. Wavemach: again went on record that I liked their products..............................what seems to be the problem with you people regarding what I say???????....I buy them, test them and report on them......and that is it...............If you like em, buy em, if you don't, bug off.People who come to this board; most of them don't know A from B, so we try to help them keep legal and help them do what they want to do broadcasting wise.......that is the point.......you don't like it, my thinking is go somewhere else, but I guess it is time to look after my own interests and thank the guys that have a lot of time to talk about why I am wrong (guess I am after 25 years doing this) for the opportunity to rest....and thank the people that have taken the opportunity..and the advice here on the board to go on the air and make it happen. (yeah, I'm mad, so the spelling sucks)..........But in going out I want to say; SERVE THE PUBLIC, GET ON THE AIR, KEEP IT LEGAL AND HAVE FUN WITH IT.<I can't amend my posts on webtv, but if you want a EDM-FM, it is the best FM part 15, buy one.....Wavemach makes the best FM antennas....look it up and get one, and for AM part 15, get a sstran; near FM quality and range that is killer and affordable.End of my community board report....antenna guy Carl
______________

Don’t go Carl because you stimulate debate, you and I strongly endorsed the EDM transmitter as well as others on this board. If it were not for someone on this board I would have never taken a chance on a company from South Africa.
I am concerned about any company like EDM that introduces a quality product knowing full well what the F.C.C will do to protect special interest.
EDM is being endorsed by almost anyone who has got one on just about every board dealing with radio broadcasting. In doing so you are going to bring out the types that like to stir up trouble it happens that’s life.

You offer a valuable perspective from someone trapped in a park that does not allow antennas. Except for one condo and my grand mothers town home I have always been able to put up any antenna I please and do. I don’t like some flake from the homeowners association telling me what I can do on my own property.

While Radio Brandy is a broadcast workshop and does not transmit. However
An independent group broadcasts our programs on a network of transmitters both AM & FM around the world.

We do buy and test equipment for our broadcaster, and give advice on their operation.

Why do people find the need to post that they are not going to post anymore. You are not going to get everone to like all that you say.

You know your stuff and I think you're a decent guy...but this nonsense need not clutter the already overloaded system.
______________
