Annoying Commercials, Volume 12

Rick Edelman, aka Rice Dellman, just annoys the heck out of me. Which is it, Rick? or Rice....is it Rick Edelman, or Rice Dellman. I think this one annoys me even more than the Dan Tullis/Joel Clark one - impossible, i know, but it's happened. Speaking of annoying, I'm also tired of having to log in every time I come to this board. Current ad that I enjoy is the one "I guess I am a tall drink of water, but I'm tap water".

If it is the commercial I think I know, it's Ric Edelman. He wanted you to get his URL correct, so it would feature "ricedelman". It would have made much more sense for him to spell it out during the ad, but he tries to be cute, so, "ric edelman" = "rice delman". After all, you may be right.....how would one exactly know how to spell "Del(l)man"?

Couldn't he just change his name officially to Rick, or, have a redirected URL if you typed in Rick?

Yeah, I've been hearing his ads for months, finally figured that out this weekend...because I think WAY TOO MUCH about these things. I've not known of many guys named 'Ric', 'Rick' is the popular spelling....but I really wanna call him 'Rice'. ;D

You've heard this too many times on KRWM...

"It's your life, live it beautifully, SONOBELLO!!"
I guess AC and Christmas listeners want to lose body fat and have liposuction. ;D

Yes, yes Sonobello. I can't stand that one. They have no creativity nor theater of the mind on those. Probably a direct account (non-agency) with the sales rep writing the copy.
