Annoying commercials

I have to accept rock music and other annoying characterstics on stations such as these because we're lucky to have advertisers. My station is a community station and owned by one man who hosts a morning show and seems quite popular.

But one of the retirement communities tells people how "we can't slow down" and has these annoying drums with what I assume is smooth jazz. If you're going after old people, at least make the music relaxing. Yes, i know, that's not the image you want. Well, how about upbeat music that older people actually like?

It's good to be back!

Maybe the advertiser wants to make the older people feel young; hence the reason for the up beat music. Welcome back. It's great to see the "ole gang" back home.

Yeah, well, I don't want the old people to feel young. The sleepy music, or the music from when they actually were young, is what makes me feel good. Pounding on drums just gets on my nerves.
