As a non-grampa, I appreciate the tradition and enjoy hearing the song every Thanksgiving. But I'm sure there's a typical, network station somewhere more suited to your tastes - feel free to enjoy it tomorrow.
It was nice when I was pulling air-shifts because it was a 22 minute break for me, but I never got it. I like Arlo, too, but this was always a bad Garrison Keillor ramble.
As always, non-commercial all-oldies WXRB-FM (95.1) in Dudley/Webster, MA played the original "Massacree" at noon, with a second helping at 3:00 PM. It's an 'XRB Tradition, just like "War Of The Worlds" on Halloween and the yearly Old Time Radio Christmas Special on Christmas Eve.
