annual tourist observations

soo I visit once a year, turn off the xm and listen to LA Radio
guys, shed some light on these issues:

KROQ infusing some hipHop??
played it off on the cinco de mayo weekend,
or cross promotion for HD-2 but still, weird

for all the static..no pun, lol
that KIIS takes for a cheap channel
top 40....errr top20 playlist, they have
a great mid day mixshow and LIVE to AIRE
on sat..from a tourist trap..lol
the live to aire started here in southern ontario
(I'm in Niagara Falls) ...sounded good.. ..

aLOT of spanish on the dial

rarely noticed 97.1 AmpRadio . . .
most of the radio was background as my buddy and I
talked during the drive, and kind of forgot about AMP radio
. . .

In 8 of the last 10 books, KBIG has been #1 25 - 54 in LA (the two it did not win were the Christmas books). This is the best that station has done in recent memory.

KBIG has never sounded better in my opinion. The music mix is upbeat and market appropriate and the jocks fit the station.
