Not that I mind since that WAS my music, I loved the 90's. But not long ago, I had though, man, they are NEVER going to play that music again. Then recently, all the A/C stations are become very 90's focused, (Star 99.9, Fresh 102,7) a few other staions, oh and don't forget Fresh's Saturday Night 90's from 7pm till Midnight, But I actually flip all day long, and have been hearing 90's EVERYwhere, Fugees? on A/C, some grunge again.

I'm 25 , so are we finally in that profitable group that everyones seeking.

(Yes I know there will be "90's haters" everyone has their generation, but mine was the 90's so Im somewhat bias, but really, all week long Ive heard a huge increase in 90's hits all oer the dial. Anyone else?

I grew up in the 90s, and I don't like hearing songs from the 21 years I've been alive on AC stations.
WEBE 108 has still not been "infected" with crappy-AC-syndrome yet.

Get ready for them Backstreet Boys, Ace Of Base, Blink 182, LFO, and other 90's hits...and be prepared to hear them on CBS-FM in the next ten years

You're making me feel old!
I'd really feel old when I hear those songs on WLNG.

How do you think I feel, I heard these bands back when I was starting High School.

Radio stations seem to bring back older music every 20 years. In the 80's there was so much 60's music on the radio and everywhere you went. In the 90's even disco came back mostly as a specialty show but the bigger hits seem to be on AC stations also. The 2000's brought the 80's back including some of the fashion. So I'm expecting the 90's to start coming back in the next couple of years as we head into a new decade. I have already been hearing not just radio but stores playing 90's.I've seen some people wearing the flannel jackets again. Hopefully, the cross color pants and shirts dont come back!!

And the US now has its first all-90s formatted radio station, 106.5 The Buzz in Sacramento, California (formerly Alt-Rock KWOD).

Officially added to my radio bookmarks :) I hope its good, Ill check this afternoon.

^^^^As many people put it, I never thought about it that way "90's" being the new 80's, so we've probably got another decade of 90's coming and specialty shows etc. Interesting

***I tried to post this at 1:57pm today but the site went down, the station above is now on my bookmarks!
I also noticed the a/c station from Westchester remains more classic, even throwing in some 70's, and staying away from the 90's, still a good a/c station tho

This will surely make the sales of ipods go way up and clearchannel's revenues go down._Face it,musically, the 90s sucked!Oh wait I just read that clearchannels is down 20 percent....Another great executive decision!

The mainstream music of the '90s only began to "suck" from the Fall of 1996. The early '90s brought us great bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, while the late '90s begat the Spice Girls, boy bands and the Latin explosion (YIKES!).

..You all better enjoy the 90's sound now, BEFORE we start flashing back to the 00's! Now THAT will be a terrible decade... actually, we're still in the 00's right now, which is even WORSE!

People make fun of the 80's and 90's? Hmmmm.... well I really hate to see what happens with the 00's! You'd think as we "advanced into the future" and passed the year 2000, we'd evolve forward, musically. Oh well. Guess I was wrong, big time.

Well, not all the music of the 00's was bad. Just mainly an incredible amount of the top 40 and urban leaning rhythmic hits....especially 2006-2008, but it looks as if we're once again improving sound quality-wise. I just hope if today's people want to jump on the electronic sound, they don't mess that up with dumb lyrics, too.

Not to mention the rap-rock craze. Remember Limp Bizkit?? :p
