Another Action Packed Week On Billboard's Hot 100 - Zac Effron mania? LOL

http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/charts/chart_display.jsp?g=Singles&f=The+Billboard+Hot+100

For the second week in a row Beyonce, along with Slim Thug, remains in pole position with "Check On It".

There are some MAJOR moves inside the Top 10, and the Hot 100 overall. The Disney movie High School Musical is to "blame" ;)
Undoubtebly the biggest stories involve Zac Efron & Vanessa Hudgens, including what appears to be the biggest mover in the history of the Hot 100 - Number 4 this week is "Breaking Free", which was last week's number 86!!! The song moves to NUMBER ONE on the Hot Digital Songs chart.

Another amazing feat for Efron is at number 23 with his song "Getcha Head In The Game"...which was last week at number 100 (!!!!).
To top it all off, Zac Efron & Vanessa Anne Hudgens are this week's Hot Shot debut at number 28 with "Start of Something New".

Other stories inside the Top 10: Ne-Yo breaks into the Top 10 at number 6, as he moves up 6 from last weeks 12 with "So sick".

Jamie Foxx Feat. Ludacris make an impressive move up from 18 to this weeks number 8 with "Unpredictable".

Natasha Bedingfield also makes her way into the Top 10 at with "Unwritten".

Mary J. Blige's "Be Without You" moves another notch to number 4, while James Blunt "Your Beautiful" heads into the Top 5 from last week's number 8. Both records have a shot at being future number ones. Blunt's chances will increase if 102.7 KIIS-FM Los Angeles pick up his record...

Two songs are close to breaking into the Top 10 - Chris Brown's "Yo" moves 8 notches from 19 to 11, while T-Pain climbs 9 spots to number 12 with "I'm N Luv". Aside from T-Pain's new entry into the Top 20 Eminem is also back as "Shake That" moves 5 places to 18.

records inside the Top 30 include the aforementioned Zac Effron records. The black Eyed Pea's "Pump It" moves up 3 from last week's 33. Sean Paul's "Temperature" also continues to gain momentum, as it moves from 29 to 25.

New inside the Top 40 are Dem Franchize Boyz Feat. Jermaine Dupri, Da Brat & Bow Wow. Their song "Lean With It, Rock It" rockets up 17 places to no. 33.

Two back to back new entries for the Hot 100 follow at numbers 34 and 35: The High School Musical Cast's "We're All In This Together" at 34, and "What I've Been Looking For" by Lucas Gabreel & Ashley Tisdale at 35.

Also nice to see the Dance prject Cascada's "Everytime We Touch" continue its steady rise as it moves from 36 to 32. The song is already Top 20 on the Pop 100.

Busta Rhymes is back in the Top 50 as "Touch It" moves from 56 to 42.
New at 43 is the aforementioned High School Cast with another one, "Stick To The Status Quo".
P.O.D. are new at 48 with "Goodbye For Now".
Finally, in at number 49 is last week's number 89. It's Keysia Cole, this week's Greatest Gainer/Airplay with "Love".

"You're Beautiful" by James Blunt is No. 5! It's great to see a non hip-hop/R&B song so high on the chart. The song has reached this high position on the strength of downloads. Hopefully CHR will take note that people are downloading this song like crazy and love it. I want it to go Top 10 on CHR.

"Unwritten" needs to be a No. 1 smash! That song is awesome.
