ANOTHER AXE SWINGS

I don't think those guys played for the A's. Sorry. We must be consistant! ;D Rollie late nights is genious. That would be a rating winner at least 20 some times.

Give Earl Weaver the overnight shift - just because...

Just wondering here. I don't remember seeing any mention here when 97X fired Kate last month. Nobody care or nobody noticed?

Somebody posted that she was gone, but the word "fired" wasn't used. The thing is that COX has so few people to start with that somebody just going is under the wire. Other than Bubba, Cowhead, and the X morning show, I don't think that COX promotes anybody as a "star".

Mudcat did play for the A's at one time. Goose? Not sure, however, a great name!

You need a low key jazz show. How about Joe Altobelli? I don't mean smooth jazz, but Brubeck type of jazz.

ALTObelli on the alto sax

And the best overnight guy ever------------Alvin Dark

...with a special 4 AM appearance by Billy Martin (Mgr, 1981 AL West Division Champs). Some of his best work at that time of the morning...

How about this for a "local morning show"? Tony LaRussa and the Bash Brothers?

Jason Giambi could do the AM sports----------OOPS-----same problem ( he was an A once)
