Another Barix question

Has anyone used a Barix device to send audio from a remote sat dish to the studio for recording? Are the contacts closeures in sync with the audio to start the recording. I have tried this before with another device and the contact closures would always be late and the front of the recording would get chopped off.
Thanks for any ideas and suggestions.

Closures are with audio. This is an excellent use.

Seconded.

We use these to distribute a local talk show. Our local host talks and fires the closures from the board. The receive ends gets them correctly and it works out great.
 
Second -seconded....

I use them to send satellite audio & closures all "in-sync". Have several Barix boxes streaming on a single DSL line.

If possible use the same DSL provider at both ends, it increases network reliability.
