Another Bellingham Pirate?

I'm not sure if anyone besides Bongwater is up here, but there seems to be another pirate in Bellingham at 107.5. I haven't had a chance to track down its range, but it's really strong around the old Skipper's on State St. It will completely drown out The End. The weird thing is that is just seems to be various TV stations. More than a few times it sounded like ESPN and CNN. I even heard KOMO's 5 p.m. newscast once. Coincidentally, there is an "wireless communications professionals" business nearby with various antennae and microwave relays. I would think the interference is from them, but the stations change. ???

I heard something there too last night, but I almost take pirates for granted up here...unless they're REALLY strong.

I'm thinking it might be somebody has their transmitter on their TV so they can listen around the house, probably not assuming the city itself.

Was it in "stereo"? My wife's car doesn't display a stereo light and it comes in real fuzzy up here in Fairhaven. Could be a cranked C.Crane FMT. Everybody is doing that now.....

Could be leakage from Cable TV --- or from a TV repair shop. Often shops hook things up on the test bench. Both could explain the different TV stations heard.

Heard Willard Scott wishing someone a 100th birthday about 20 minutes ago.

He always had a thing for older women....

I'll look around today and try and narrow it a bit. Problem is, you look kinda perverted circling around a block for no logical reason "Um..HI OFFICER!....No, everything's OK, I'm just trying to find a radio station here....." And Bellingham cops don't mess around with nobody....
