Another blast from the past....

If I had a dollar for every time I heard that jingle play growing up in Cincy...I'd be on a beach somewhere now. Thanks for that posting...

I notice YouPube also has a bumper used in the '70s on Channel 11 in Minneapolis that sang, "Metro (wah) Media (wah) Television...11, 11, 11." One of the commenters said Channel 19 in Cincinnati had this same bumper, except it replaced 11 with 19.

For as long as I can remember, I've had this "19, 19, 19" somewhere in the deep recesses of my mind. Based on that comment, I'm pretty sure I know where it came from.

Does anyone have a copy of the Channel 19 version of this bumper anywhere?

Also, does anyone have a screenshot of the Channel 5 logo from around 1976? I'm talking about the last one they used before launching many decades of Helvetica boredomness.

On Reelradio there's a demo of Drake-Chenault's "Hit Parade" (or "Solid Gold") where they use WLCY-FM (Tampa) IDs but L.A. commericals, one has the jingle for "Metromedia 11....11.....11".

No jingle (though I think it might be on the Dick Von Hoene's obit video)....I do have a Metromedia 19 station ID slide :)....along with an Uncle Al microphone and the Past Prime Playhouse sound effects cart library :)
