Another Caribbean Station on HD

Apparently there is sufficient demand for Caribbean radio in this area for a third station to start broadcasting on an HD sideband. One Love Radio is now on WBLS HD3. It has 2 affiliates in Florida.
Also offering Caribbean programming are Irie Jam Radio on WQHT 97.1 HD3, and Roadblock Radio on WCBS FM 101.1 HD3.
Having 3 West Indian stations on HD, along with stiff fines from the FCC, may further discourage unlicensed broadcasters in this market.

Well it is amazing to see FCC licensed operators bringing the same formats as the Pirate Radio stations the problem I see is the licensed radio stations are doing this in HD radio.

I would assume that many of these people who are getting served by the pirates do not have the money to get HD radio but I love that idea.

The question becomes how many of the Pirate Radio audience have HD radio?

If they don't have HD radio then question becomes how long will these HD Radio stations last before becoming financially unfeasible.
