Another casualty of the royalty wars

KDLK and its sister station KTJK in Del Rio recently stopped streaming. KDLK airs a country format while KTJK airs Tejano. Shame since KDLK had a unique mix of Country on the time I logged on into their stream. Crap like this is why radio (and to bigger point the whole broadcasting industry in general) is dying. :mad: :'(

The up coming increase in royalty fees is going to kill all the small idies both on the radio dial in the record world.
 
I like listening to faraway stations on the Internet as much as the next guy. But you can't expect to broadcast someone else's work to a global audience and expect to pay the local rate. That just doesn't make sense.
