There was a thread here earlier about a conflict of interest question about an air personality reading plugs for their business on the air. Not to revisit that, but something else came to my attention that I found curious. I understand there is a CC sales manager in the Jackson area has a management position with a retail establishment in the same market. Did Clear Channel change their policy against that sort of thing?

Notice I didn't mention any names.
 
All Clear Channel employees were suppposed to sign their handbook when hired, to agree with company policies. It's got everything in there. Restrictions on outside employment, especially for management types. Maybe different now, I don't know.
