Has anyone ever tried to compete with KESZ and play Christmas music? It's unusual to have only one Christmas station.

KOY's been playing Christmas music in December for many years. Of course that's not really "competing" since both stations are owned by Clear Channel.

Try satellite radio: They've got three Xmas music channels! :p

I'm in heaven! ;D

You need a better satrad provider; the other guys' XMas lineup has five channels.

Didn't the old KMYL-FM try a Christmas-Cocktails-skewing format back in the 1990s?

KMYL = Cimmel ??

KTWC 103~Five was all Ho-Ho-Ho for a year in the 90s. Station was sold to MAC and became Country with Tim and Willy, then smooth jazz as The Oasis. Now it's KLNZ...all espanol, todo el tiempo.
