Another Color Bar Test Graphic Question

Seen one like this at a lot of stations and some network feeds...in each case the black strip in the center carries the ID of the originating control point. I've seen 'em from WIVB Buffalo, WROC-TV and WXXI-TV Rochester, WCBS-TV and CBS Network New York, CBC Toronto, Fox and FX from New York, and more. In each case it's computer-generated at the originating point, not a hard copy graphic card.

Thank you Bob,

However, actually what I meant was the font itself.

Look at this pic and compare it to the previous pic in this thread. There is a big difference between the two fonts in the two computer generated test graphic pictures.

The latter was definitely used on broadcast stations as it was generated from Tektronix generators. My question is, in the previous picture, because it came from a WNEW-TV yahoo group and it was a reproduction, but it could have been a fan made one, was the font in the previous picture actually used in broadcast test graphics?

I thank you again very much for your help. Have a great day. :)

The repro, I have not seen on any electronic color bars from any generator that I know of, on any broadcast (or even cable) TV station. (The -I and +Q on that first sample was a dead giveaway of it being a fan-made repro.)

But it's still a good repro...the pluge (the 5, 7.5 and 10 IRE black samples in the bottom 7.5 black stripe) are often forgotten or are off. This looks good.
