Another CW Station Addition...

R

Guest
That's right everyone. This addition will be Dr. Flinn's WBIH channel 29 from the Selma and Montgomery area. Right now, they are catering to UATV and many informericals. I just found that out, while visiting the Alabama Broadcast Media Page. When I saw that, it shocked me.

Maybe Dr. Flinn is fixing to do something with this TV station and make a real go of it. Then again, I may be drinking too many Mountain Dews. If I am, please let me know.

The info Mr. Zach had, read like this: 29 WBIH Selma 1,450,000 430 ACN, Urban American TV
(to be: CW)

Re: Another CW Station...for Montgomery & Birmingham

He also list Sinclair's WTTO as the Birmingham affiliate, which hasn't been announced elsewhere. Are you sure that Zack didn't make a typo or a guess on this one? WBIF seems like the station least likely to pick up CW. I'd be interested in seeing this confirmed from a reliable source.

Flinn has a similar station a little south of you in the Mobile market (WFBD-DT/48). Seeing that My Network has already affiliated with WFGX/35, which only covers about 25% of the Mobile market, does this mean that it's now possible CW will affiliate with WFBD-DT, which might cover 40% of the market? This would leave full market signals WJTC and WBPG independent...

The CW/My affiliations for the last 25% of the country are becoming weird.
