Another day at Nassau...now Mr.Frisch...who's next?

Well it's confirmed..Bob Frisch has been sent packing and the rumors are hot as to who's next. Don't really know the guy well but his reputation tells me there are some happy people in old Vermont and New Hampshire. My guess is that they needed to dump another salary because they still aren't hitting their goals. Then again the Bob Frisch way of managing probabaly has the brass at a point where they've just had enough.Seems that they seem to go after a lot of the old Vox employees (watch out Mr.Gales). Is there another restructuring underway?? Look out everyone...these guys have been losing money since they arrived and there are still places to cut some cash. What they should do is take a look at who they have running these station clusters and start realizing these Jersey Boys are like fish out of water...no clue as to how it's done in good old New England. I understand that the big guy in NH and his boy aren't too popular with their respective employees.And forget about the Maine guy, he's just plain crazy! Will they replace Frisch or try to go with their current general managers?? Man...that company is a mess!

Ahhh...reminds me bout the ol' country song by phil vassar. 'Just another day in paradise.' Lia honey send that out to me would ya? yep, just got off the phone in the barn up here in Sharon with My big girlfriend at cc. You sure did your research radiowatch, confirmed with all the best of them, and its as true as the sky is blue today up here in Sharon. She heard the same thing, sales goals down in the region and old Vox employees on the slashers list. Why keep em' when welldone can track em' in...Guess there's a growing list of folks in the unemployment office. All the while, Norma Jean is baking a nice pot-roast, bring on the sweet potatoes. Yum! Nassau must be enjoying all that paper work, let's all hope they don't screw that up like their portland traffic office disaster. Ouch! As for your Mary, she does love help gettin' ready for harvest season. So if any of you want to be a hired hand. Just call me, maybe we can have more than just farm fun too... Meow!

Well Ms. Mary...it's always an adventure at Nassau. I've been out of touch with the local NH radio scene for quite a long time now but my Nassau snitch says it's pretty ugly. It appears that the big guy and his boy wonder in the other part of the state are in over their heads...both are getting quite a reputation. My guess is that some further trimming will allow them to shop the properties...then maybe we can get back to hearing real radio instead of their boring, predictable formats. Hey remember when everyone used to laugh at Clearchannel and how they operated? Well that sure has changed. Hope all is well on the farm...I'm heading back to good old NH soon and might take a ride up and see ya...I'd love to go to the Frisch memorial party!

I sure do remember those days...ha-ha! Not to mention My big girlfriend at cc does too! You betcha -she reminds me all the time! Things are good up here on the farm in Sharon. I'm glad you asked!! If you do get up here, we could have some down home fun! grrr...woof!! I'm sure Norma Jean could cut us a slice of pie and pour us a tall glass of lemonade...and we could talk about those great radio days of what seems like so long ago. Besides, if we do have a party, lets not forget the ol' welldone. He could bring his devine cooler, and his slowest creative wit. Which is always the life of the part-tay!
