Another doghouse thread-live105

While on air they mentioned not going to live105, since live105 has some jock from the midwest(?) coming in. So that leaves alice flipping or leaving the bay?

From AllAccess:

WOODY, TONY & RAVEY, most recently doing afternoons at EMMIS Alternative WKQX (Q101)/CHICAGO, become EATMAN's latest clients to fill in a post-HOWARD slot by heading to INFINITY Alternative KITS (LIVE 105)/SAN FRANCISCO for morning drive beginning in JANUARY.

Within one year of being hired at Wild 107, they were talked openly on-air about big syndication deals that were on the horizon for them, about how they'd probably have to move to L.A...but Wild would be their Bay Area outlet, etc., etc. It's what these guys do, and I wouldn't put too much credence in it. Regardless, the word from Infinity is that the post-Howard morning show at Live 105 will be music intensive, not personality based. Makes sense to me.

In today's Chicago Sun-Times, Robert Feder wrote:

> Jeff "Woody" Fife, Tony Mott and Renae Ravey, the former afternoon team at Emmis Communications' alternative rock WKQX-FM (101.1), have landed at KITS-FM in San Francisco. They'll replace Howard Stern's syndicated morning show on the Infinity alternative station in January.

Radio & Records seconds that, and adds the date:

> Woody, Tony & Ravey, the former afternoon hosts at WKQX (Q101)/Chicago, will take the morning shift at KITS (Live 105)/San Francisco on Jan. 2, following Howard Stern's departure.

If this is true, and Sarah & No Name stay at Alice, where does this leave our beloved Doghouse?

if it's not going to be personality-based, then they hired the wrong morning show. they have LOTS of personality. they play music too...but maybe infinity brass/station management/mr. demery all changed their mind?<P ID="signature">______________
