The KTFM Beat Mix starting at 11p tonight! The best in electronic dance, house and techno mixed up by the best dj's in the nation. Tonight DJ M3 kicks us off!
Isn't the Pride Radio format on KXXM HD-2 largely EDM? I've never given it an extended sample, but it always seems to be playing EDM music when I flip by it every couple of months.
The only HD2 stations on in San Antonio are:
91.7 HD2 (R&B - KROV)
95.1 HD2 (KCOR-AM simulcast)
98.5 HD2 (Silent
)101.9 HD2 (WiLD 105.7 simulcast)
104.5 HD2 (KBuc 93.3 and 92.5 simulcast)
I guess CC has given up the idea of HD2 unless it's necessary to feed a translator.
I have been running www.saDanceRadio.com for almost three years, at this time it is only Internet, but looking to get a spot on FM, even if it is only at night. If anyone knows how I could pull that off please let me know.
BTW> we get about 228,000 tune ins a month and 55,000 over five minutes. We are at the top 2% of all stations listed on shoutcast. By no means is that a big deal, but it does show potential.
I think this format can make an owner money.. If there is anyone, in anyway to make this happen on FM in san Antonio, please give me your ideas.
Get in contact with a station, Winston. KBBT HD2 for example just rebroadcasts 98.5 The Beat's programming, I don't think they have much to do with it.
Try getting in touch with Univision, Clear Channel, Cox, BMP, etc. You can even try one of the translators that currently aren't being used (93.7, 105.9, etc).
Those are my ideas however I've never really gotten in contact with stations too often before. My first guess is to try getting an office number and dialing it.
Good luck! I've tuned into your station before and I always like it.
