Another Exit from KHOZ in Harrison

Rumor has it current KHOZ afternoon jock, "Kevin Beemer" has given notice and is taking a job at the local Home Depot. Former KHOZ GM, "Jamie Holt" has taken a position with Harrison radio station KCWD. I hear a few that are left at KHOZ are out looking.

who is that gonna leave?...troy walker by himself to carry the load?....anyone know him well enough to get a clue on what he might be thinking?....he has got to be pulling his hair out

I imagine Bowman would move to mornings. I don't know Walker, but I do imagine they will low dollar some service for the rest of the day.

> i dont know....walker seems to be the guy they go to...he's doing mornings...has only been doing it for a month though but has already improved it alot...he does the party line on the am side....he does most of the big remotes...alot of production....just seem to be stretching him a little thin maybe....

Can anyone confirm if they are actually throwing a going away party for Kevin B.?
(And by "throwing", I mean, "attendees have to pay for their own food and drinks.")

Since the powers that be removed our little digression on Mecom, let me just say that the only reason I asked is that I was told that something similar took place when Jamie left for Berryville. "Party at the country club but everyone pays their own way." If that's negative, then bang the gavel and call me guilty!

yeah man...it was negative....none of us see what the berryville station is doing that has to do with giving you another reason to bash khoz....ever since you left khoz and couldnt get hired back...you have done nothing but bash those guys...and by the way....you are larry mecom...

Whew. Let's clarify: I mentioned Berryville in reference to Jamie leaving KHOZ to work there. Now he's back in Harrison. If I referenced anything else the Berryville station is "doing", it must have been in another dimension cause I don't recall it nor can I find it here.

All I did was ask a simple question about whether Beemer got a party that guests had to pay to attend (as happened when Jamie left) and everyone says I'm being negative about the Hose.

Sarcastic? Yes. Snide? Absolutely.
But negative? That's hurts right here, man (pointing to my heart).

Ok, it's dinner time. When I come back, I'm going to replace the Mecom picture on my Yahoo! profile with someone else so you can say in your authoritarion tone, "and by the way....you are so-and-so".

Party at the Country Club was thrown by a few close friends and had nothing to do with the radio station. An award was even presented by local law enforcment for work Mr. Holt had done over the years. I was there and bought my own drinks at the bar. Everyone had a nice time. The station send off was something else. Managment did not show up for it. Made for a much better party.

Your welcome. Anytime I can be of help just let me know.
