Another Forever Employee AXED!

Too bad. Dave was one of the good guys left in radio. I hope to wake up one morning and read that Dave Davies was called into Carol O'Leary's aka Carol Logan's office and is told "this time it's you". Talk about your non-revenue generating postions...General Manager of a dying chain...hahaha.
 
Look for a member of a Forever morning team to be the next MIA. You can take this one to the bank, it will happen first week after the spring book. Trust me.
 
As usual, there is more than a little truth to "satelite man's" latest tome. From what I hear around the fry wagon, Mr. Davies or Davis, or whatever he's calling himself these days, married into the "right Altoona family" and has some job security out at the swamp. You don't alienate "major advertisers" and/or folks who have connections to an ad agency. Mr. Davies isn't the only Forever employee enjoying that kind of security. Satelite Man should get back into the business and set the market on it's ear. He might be hard pressed fitting into Forever because he has some talent and oriignal ideas. Ask him about how he set the morning breakfast table for one of the ol' morning crew. It was a formal setting for an informal breakfast.
 
I see Roger Corey has resurfaced in Altoona radio, with the Barger group. The Altoona Mirror report says Rog will be selling for 1240, 1370, 94.3 & 94.7
That Dave Barger is one smart cookie. I've heard it said before, and it's worth repeating..."Dave Barger is a marketing genius"
 
Dave Barger dons a flat hat that looks like a big, flat cookie! He wore it to Texas Hotdogs. Larry McKee has a picture of Dave and some of his cronies.
