Looks like MIX 103.1 went to talk. Hearing what sounds like a morning talk show right now.
I had a feeling something like this would happen after WWAV flipped to a jack fm format.
I believe it's the Matt&Ramona show which syndicated out of
Charlotte, NC. They've been playing them for awhile. The station
is still the same boring hot ac taking up air space.
If they turn into FM talk, I hope they air coast to coast am WFTW is very hard to hear.
I agree, like i said, WWAV is similar to what MIX used to be (with some classic rock)
..but it's only about 500 songs total on their play list.
(though the Jones operated "the classic rock station" has gone beyond the traditional songs which is nice)

Rob:If you have trouble recieving coast to coast am, just log on to KLBJ, they stream it. I would imagine several stations also stream it live on the net.
just a question though are they "playing" with a talk format? like i said earlier, WWAV is their sister station and went to a jack format (hopefully, with jocks soon)
and having two similar stations playing almost the same thing doesn't fit.
