another format flip -- not that it matters

**1400 tower got hit after the '05 hurricane and its coverage sucks ever since!

I believe they never put the 1400 tower back up after Wilma. I think they are multiplexing from another tower that was nearby. Possibly 1170AM?

They are NOT coming from the 1170/1580 sticks behind Everglades MHP...still somewhere just west of I-95 and NW 19'th St.

Why did 1580 move to the 1170 sticks?
Check Google Earth to view the timeline. Their seven (7) towers were razed in 2002 and out of the debris, sprung forth the Palm Trace Landings apartment complex.

There are now 4 or five towers at the old WAVS site. Some are used by WAVS day and/or night and some by WSRF day and/or night.

Sorry, I can't include links from this PDA :(

We are into July, we have had a preset on 1400 for two months, and we are getting nervous.
When are they supposed to flip?

More than three (3) months have come and gone since this hoax thread began. All confidence is lost and we have returned our button to its rightful station, our favorite AM pirate just four (4) clicks up the dial somewhere in northern Broward county.
