Another Hmmm...

[WBGR FM 93.1]

As most of you know WGZZ "Wings 100.3" has a CP to relocate to FM 94.3 to accomodate WAOQ's change of COL. Last night, I was listening to the great programming on their online stream when I heard an odd liner: "Wings, Today at 100.3.....Tomorrow, who knows!"

Is this a sign of things to come at the Auburn Network?

The website (www.wingsfm.com) has "the move" taking place on Monday, April 19th. And further down the site and further "not" answering the question (http://www.wingsfm.com/News/frmArticle.aspx?NewID=1062), all they say is "we're moving to the left". Thank goodness Air America Radio is dead - eliminates one possibility.

All I am expecting is the frequency move and the albeit minimal power upgrade. Expect an upgrade to the HD2 broadcast of WANI-AM also.

On the website, all it says is that Wings is moving "to the left." It does not say how far. What if WANI AM 1400's talk programming was moved to the better signal on 94.3. WGZZ's classic hits format moves to AM 1400/FM 98.7. It may be (but probably not) possible since many AM Talkers are moving to stronger FM frequencies.
