http://www.i100radio.com/ Is this anything to do with a fan of the Knoxville I-100... BTW,,, most of you may not know this, but Daytona Beach FL once had an I-100 too,,, I think this is a web only station inspired by one of those,, but the listen live link doesnt work.. I dont think this is for a real FM station,, website looks cool, but not very Comercial radio like.. Can anyone check the domain and see where it is coming from?

The "I 100" in Daytona Beach you mentioned would have been WNFI-FM 99.9 Palatka. It actually started out as WIYD-FM, then WNFY for "Y 100", but was forced to drop the "Y" , becoming WNFI "I 100" after a service mark infringement suit was filed against Daytona's "Y 100" by WHYI "Y 100" Fort Lauderdale - Miami. Daytona's "I 100" went through a series of format changes, adjustments and tweaking, starting out as Churban, moving to Top 40, becoming New Rock and then adult contemporary with the call letters WFKS for "99.9 Kiss FM" before finally flipping to country as WGNE "99.9 Froggy FM". The station eventually was re-licensed from Palatka to Middleburg, Florida making it possible to move the tower site from Bunnell to downtown Jacksonville and a studio move from Ormond Beach to the Renda Broadcast complex in Jacksonville. The former "I 100" is now Gator Country 99.9 with the call letters WGNE and serves Jacksonville and all of North Florida.
