Another Indy country station?

Did the station in Franklin, 95.9 FM, change its format from religious music to country music? Just what we need, another country station.

I am listening right now and they are advertising themselves as "Playing the Polkas we want"..they are definitely stunting, playing some god-awful polka music, saying to listen Wednesday morning at 7 for the "New 95.9 FM"...also their website, joy96.com, takes you directly to CNN.

That frequency is useless anyway, you cant hear it, unless your in the south east part of Indy, or farther south.

Swap Shop for Franklin may be in order.
______________
Greetings from Ohio-where the governor wants everyone to know he's sorry.

Will they turn the stereo pilot off again??? Blending problems not a worry in Hi Fi Mono.

Promo says listen Wed Morning at 7am. Former web pages agre gone , only the cached on Google pages are available. Can't even get staff emails. Must have blown everyone out.

Ben Woods weather? Metro traffic? Just wondering.

Story is 93.9 will go Country and ESPN will appear on the FM to bolster the lackluster performance of espn950. Curious.

The only way I see 93.9 changing formats is if the new owners of 93.9 decides to dump the CCM format. They wont be taking it country to be the #3 country outlet in indy. Especially with the #1 country outlet in the same cluster. I do see 95.9 ending up in a Simulcast with 950 since they are co-owned by raven broadcasting

didn't they just announce that some games would be on the 95.9? Another question, is there an LMA agreement with WXLW? Seems odd that two different radio stations would have an agreement like this.

I believe the Owners of 950 who bought 950 off the owners of 95.9 is buying 95.9 to reunite them as sister stations a 2nd time

95.9 Network providers found out about the format switch. Emails from listeners.

Apparently you call the office and some italian sounding guy answers the answering machine. (not that anything is wrong with that) A message about sausage and polkas.
