Another Jerry Russell Station Fined $11,000

KZEY/Tyler, TX was fined $11,000 for several violations. This comes on the heels of KWRD/Henderson, TX also being fined $11,000. I wonder when the FCC will finally get around to fines in Mississippi and Arkansas? Of course, Russell will never pay them.

COMMUNITY BROADCAST GROUP, INC. Issued a monetary forfeiture in the amount of $11,000 to Community Broadcast Group, Inc.,Tyler, Texas for failure to operate the station in accordance with the station authorization and failure to make available a complete public inspection file. Action by: Regional Director, South Central Region, Enforcement Bureau. Adopted: 03/22/2007 by Forfeiture Order. (DA No. 07-1375).

I'm curious....is this the same Jerry Russell that years ago was the sales manager in Columbus, Georgia working for Bernie Barker at WDAK and WEIZ?

No. This Jerry, as in Jerry Don Russell, is the CEO of the crooked but infamous Community Broadcast Group/MRS Ventures coup based out of Tyler. Ask Larry about this character. He is the one that tragically molested the broadcasting properties in Tyler, TX, Henderson, TX as well as in Pine Bluff, AR and Mississippi. He's also responsible for running good people off the stations and replaces them with less experienced "losers." Therefore, JR's pooch is drastically but mangledly screwed triple time!!!
