Another KOOL Kristmas?

Totally shocked at the song heard at 9 AM today, September 30, on KOOL-FM.

No, not Brown Eyed Girl, although for once I would have been glad to hear it
instead of what was played.

The song? Feliz Navidad by Jose Feliciano.

I hope PD Kris is just playing with our heads...but somehow I doubt it. Guess
he thinks last year's fall book--#16 in 25-54--was a good thing. <roll eyes>
 
Be thankful NFVG didn't say, "Now this is KOOL."

It was "That KOOL Tune at 9am" for the At Work Rewards Program. The song itself went along with Maria's blog post this morning of the hottest Christmas toys of 2009.

In retrospect, the first Christmas songs heard on KOOL last year occurred two weeks prior to this date. Remember the "Kiss My Saturn Astra" contest with Herbie the Elf and the two Christmas songs in a row?

We actually have it good this year. (in respects to Christmas music only)

Isn't Christmas when we celebrate the birth of Santa?

Nurse Czarina Jeff and I enjoy a crackling log in the fireplace, hot cocoa and standing under the mistletoe like everyone else..but not in October! Just give us a break from the all Ho-Ho-Ho format until we stuff our little Middle Eastern bellies with turkey on Thanksgiving!
