KTAR, CBS 5/Phoenix Enter News Partnership
BONNEVILLE Talk KTAR-A/PHOENIX and crosstown MEREDITH CBS affiliate KPHO-TV (CBS 5) ink a partnership deal to combine some news resources, trading news links for each other's web sites and extending their coverage of breaking news, weather, and traffic. Both stations have won EDWARD R. MURROW Awards and AP Awards for their news coverage.

I THINK A KTAR / KNXV PARTNERSHIP IS A BETTER MATCH, SINCE THEY'RE BOTH ABC AFFILIATES.

KNXV & KTAR HAVE THE SAME QUALITY OF PRODUCTION AND PRENSENTATION, IMO

PLUS, ABC 15'S STEVE IRVIN HAS BEEN DOING FILL-IN ON KTAR.

But KPHO is a CBS Station. I think the press release meant CH 15, ABC's affiliate.

Looking at the press release, CH 5 & KTAR do have an agreement. KNXV is not involved.

Mc12 & ErrAmerica KPHX...they both have a liberal agenda

Maybe ABC15 and RadioGuy2006 can buy a station and have an agreement. They could call it "KBAC" and pretend the call letters were really KABC. Bill Bellis could do the weather; Katie Raml could team up with someone to read the news in the afternoon and maybe it would have an FM sister station like Boneville. There slogan could be "The 1st station to break local news, live."
