Another "Legend?"

WKNG AM 1060 is trying to capitalize on the absence of "The Legend." Below is one of the liner's being used on the station.

YOUR HOME FOR THE LEGENDS OF COUNTRY MUSIC IS RIGHT HERE. WE ARE WEST GEORGIA’S ONLY HOME FOR LEGENDARY COUNTRY MUSIC…AM1060, KING COUNTRY, WKNG, THE LEGEND!!

WKNG also has started streaming online 24/7, even though they sign off at sunset. I think the re-branding as "The Legend" is a good idea.

I guess they are trying to fill a void. Any thoughts?

Love it. I miss the Legend at 96.7.

I can pick it up fine at home (Paulding), and got good coverage all the way to Vinings at the river. Signal only really seriously degraded after heading into Buckhead.

Looked at the website - seems like Gradick has good set-up with several West GA stations.

Now, if 1310 AM in Decatur would come back, I could listen to classic Country the first part of my commute and progressive talk the last part, and reverse it in the afternoons.
