Another lib talk show is gone. Whoopi!

Calling the Whoopi show a liberal talk program isn't a stretch--it's more along the lines of a lie. But that's Michele Malkin for you.

Now, if you want to call it a bad morning show hosted by a liberal, then go ahead...

Great point. Anyone who has heard the show knows it's not a political show. What a truly dumb comment.

totally off topic..but Jay, I heard you on the Hirschfield and Kula radio show on KXL amd I thought you were great! =It was nice hearing a show that has so many different points of views...very refreshing!

Slant, thanks. I think those guys are great. They should be on more stations. I don't say that because I was on there! I say it because from what I heard they work very well together and sound good. Anyway, thanks.

Malkin is a classic example of someone who contributes nothing of quality but prospers by telling a certain group exactly what they want to hear. Kind of the same problem a lot of "talk" hosts are having. If you're ever tempted to take this Faustian bargain, well, enjoy the fleeting fame - but don't be surprised if one day it comes around and bites you on the gluteus maximus... ;D

Good point, not nec. a political show but hosted by a liberal. I do like Malkin (whose book "Unhinged" described
everything from vandalism of GOP offices to bigots making racist comments about her)

If it's not a political show then why point out she a "liberal"? As far as Malkin goes she did a wonderful job on the S Chip story staking out those poor folks house. The sign of someone who really wants the facts, not.

refresh my memory. Wasn't there also a Whoopi Goldberg radio show back in the late 90's that also flopped? or was that a simulcast of TV show. I remember some stations also used to carry the audio from Larry Kings TV show, and I remember Joan Rivers used to be on the radio also.
They should leave the radio up to the professionals.

I can point out the hypocrisy in just those two things alone. There has been plenty of shenanigans at DNC offices (I mean, since Watergate) and she is also notorious for her vicious anti-Muslim and anti-Asian rants. I've seen her get schooled on plenty of cable talk shows where she just couldn't back up her nonsense. She practically stormed off "Hardball" once in tears after being completely schooled by Chris Matthews (who wasn't even trying very hard). Had some rough times on Bill Maher's show, and Maher was going out of his way to be easy on her. Since then, she's rarely left the comfy confines of FOX News. A lightweight Ann Coulter wannabe.

Malkin is just an insane rabble-rouser. And a pathetic pundit.

Surely there's better conservoporn out there for your brain to feed on, isn't there?

I would definitely consider Larry King to be a radio professional. That's where his show started, and he was a pioneer in syndicated talk radio. Some stations still carry the audio from his CNN show, but he no longer does a separate radio show (Jim Bohannon replaced him years ago).

Joan Rivers, hell no. But at least with her on radio, one doesn't have to see her face.

Does anyone else find it slightly ironic that the conservatives have these no-talent female noisemakers like Malkin and Coulter? Why is it that the liberals have young females like Rhodes and Stephanie who are smart, funny and original? It just seems like the conservatives don't want smart, funny and original. Nt is a female, anyway.

Coulter can string together a sentence on the air at least. She is smart and pernicious. Malkin is just a shadow of a wanna-be. She's acting like she is imitating a pundit on TV, but there-she is: deer-in-the-headlights out of her league. She should stick to that on-line crapfest she writes. Maybe summer stock would be a good thing for her. Brush up on her incredulous, turd-under-her-nose look. Then she might be like her blond arachnid friend.

Sing along with me: Coulter Ann, Coulter Ann, does whatever a spider can...
