another low power fm

according to All Access:
And THE NORTHSIDE BAPTIST CHURCH OF CHARLOTTE, NC has been granted a low power FM construction permit at CHARLOTTE, NC. -

That would have nothing to do with the new christian music station broadcasting on 100.1 fm? Just noticed it the other day. How many do we need?

Nope - that one is in Kings Mountain, N.C. This one will be on 93.1 MHz per this site: <http://www.radiosurvivor.com/tag/low-power-fm/>. Now we have two new ones, to add to the growing list of translators. Ugh.

The radio broadcasting mold is indeed broken AM and FM. Somebody needs to do something.

Yes this problem with low power signals interfering with full power stations has gone too far. In many cases, the protected legal spacing is too close, and previously clear reception is now problematic for distant stations. WLNK 107.9-FM used to have a strong, clear signal in Greenville, SC before a low power station WXRU signed on last year. Nothing but mutual interference on 107.9 for both stations. Bad decision by the FCC. Although I still get WLNK clearly in the house with rabbit ears, but you can forget it in the car except when the HD locks on. And another LPFM also now blocks WLKO on 102.9 in Greenville and Spartanburg. Absurd.
