ANOTHER Magically Disappears?

Non-competes

I am not a lawyer but my experience has taught me that if everyone is not on a non-compete (in similar positions) none of them are valid...plus they can't make you sign a non-compete after you have been there a while. (They will try and out of fear people sign them.) If "they" let one employee leave and go across the street who was on a non-compete that invalidates all of the other non-competes as well. "They" also send C&D's to your new employer (which is torturous interference) but most employers don't want to bother with the legal fees so they dismiss you. The few that have gone across the street and fought back have won and kept their new jobs...(all bark, lots of bucs and little cry baby bites. ) Alabama especially Dothan has several bull dog lawyers who will help in a non-com claim..Florida is different, all the hands are greased and the backs patted by the same GOB's...plus the problem of conflict of interest, if you know what I mean.

Gee thanks duncanalausa! You've opened my eyes to how wrong I am. I've turned over the new leaf: Magic is a great place for people to work, excellent working enviornment, wonderful management, the best community service, excellent processing and sound, low turn over and a truly undervalued company. Thank you so much for helping me to see the error of my ways!
 
i said nothing about the place being any different than you described it.

you are (one of) the one(s) who is always criticizing the running of and staff of the station. there are two reasons people keep harping on a subject. one is because they are insecure and the other is because they want to do something about it.

a station isn't cheap but if you are a convincing enough communicator you can put together a group of investors who feel like you or feel that you can make a difference whilst making them some money.

tilting at windmills is unbecoming.

Yes, more details please ....was it Ms. July or the 3'10" tower of power? Strangely coincidental that those clubs are in the Wicksburg area?

Anyway, remember that the book ends on Wednesday this week so expect changes anytime now to just before the book comes back. Yeah, I know, but Magic seems to really like making changes before all information is available.

A lyric is trying to play in my head .......Ozzie maybe....."A shot in the dark, one step away". That's all there is, can someone complete it for me?
 
Looks like to me changes have already been made...and not just at Magic-the Radio People, too! And before the book was even finished!!

rotflmao......reminds me of the "bowling pin lady" that used to call KMX in the late 70's except we didn't put her on the air.
 
Even Herb Turlock wouldn't have taken that money. I am so embarrassed for them. I wonder what the clients of those stations would have thought if they had heard that. Where are you omglol? Even market 193 shouldn't have to sink that low for a dollar.

Magic has it's problems....Way to many to mention but, TM left because he was told he had a bad attitude by KVD and RR and anyone who knows TM knows he can not take criticism....he just left....blew off commitments and never looked back. The bridge definitely needs tremendous repair but burning it behind you is never the answer in this business.
