You can add WAAT-LP/South Bend to the list. The station is owned by Weigel Broadcasting, which BTW also owns WMWB-LP, which just joined The CW.

... and they're all part of a rare triopoly, along with the ABC affiliate in town, WBND-LP. Is it because they're all low-power stations that such a triopoly is allowed?

You bet.
It's something like this in Victoria, TX too, where the same company owns or controls the ABC, Fox, NBC, and Univision. ABC and Fox are full-service (Fox is LMA'ed to the ABC) and the others are LPs.

You bet.
It's something like this in Victoria, TX too, where the same company owns or controls the ABC, Fox, NBC, and Univision. ABC and Fox are full-service (Fox is LMA'ed to the ABC) and the others are LPs.

And in Milwaukee, where the firm that owns the South Bend triopoly owns the full-power CBS affiliate WDJT, low-power independent WMLW, and low-power Telemundo affiliate WYTU.
As I understand it, the multiple-ownership regulations don't apply to LPs.

Up in Eureka/Arcata, CA, the company that owns the FOX affiliate LMAs the CBS affiliate from a friend of the company's owner. And that company also owns UPN and Univision LPTVers, and I believe they at least used to program a WB cable outlet!

Even further down, at the other end of the state, in Palm Springs, the ABC affiliate, KESQ (Channel 42, Cable 3--is branded by the latter) controls the Fox (KDFX-LP 33--AKA Fox 11, an obvious play on L.A.'s KTTV), Telemundo (K15EI), and cable-only WB ("KCWB" 5, probably another play on KTLA) stations in the area. I guess this means I can stick a fork in "UPN Michiana" - the digital subchannel of 22 WSBT (CBS). Without a network, I'd have to guess unless they have an iron-clad retrans agreement, their cable/satellite carriage will go south. (If said agreement IS iron-clad, then I'd look for them to switch over to their NEWS22 StormTracker Channel, which they tout as "Michiana’s only 24-hour weather channel".)
If they decided to keep it as is (minus UPN, of course) - I wonder if 2nd runs of Oprah and Dr. Phil are enough to sustain a station.
I think this is great news for Weigel though - as they may finally get all their LPTVs carried on cable & satellite, since all will have the benefit of a national network affiliation.
