Another New AM For The Burlington Market?

L

Laurence Glavin

Guest
Recently, a petitioner for a new AM in the Burlington, VT area tried to move the whole shebang to just outside of Albany, NY. Now the FCC has received an application for new AM on 1590 in Winooski, VT. The operation is supposed to be 10KW days with a non-directional antenna; 500 watts directional at night. What: no critical hours? WSMN in Nashua will love that.

The only stations that get critical-hours protection are domestic class A facilities, of which there are none on 1590 or adjacent frequencies.
