Another new LPTV in Houston

Looks like their construction permit also included a change of COL from Lake Jackson to Houston. tripinva's site shows a fairly decent coverage area (with the Longley-Rice overlay) but with a wicked null to the northeast: www.rabbitears.info/contour.php?appid=1394759&map=Y

I think they're currently operating at 0.5 kW without that null under STA. They filed paperwork on it about two weeks ago. I do not yet have a map produced for that facility.

KZHO is coming in clear here at my office in Midtown -- but then the transmitter is on the Chase Tower so I am very close to the transmitter. Spanish religious format on all three subchannels,b ut I can't differentiate if there is any particular difference in the format. This channel was a surprise, I was looking for KUBE and found this channel too.

I'm receiving it south of Katy (Cinco area) with an attic mounted 4-bay Channelmaster UHF antenna with a signal strength of 62% on my Dish ViP622 receiver with no drop-outs. The programming is not for me so I won't be watching unless there are some programming changes but it is reaching here, nevertheless.

Last night, instead of programming KZHO 38.1 was broadcasting a screen shot of the Slingbox Sling Player interface, with a menu reading "Vision Celestial" on the interface. I suppose it would be cheaper to feed a station via slingbox from a remote station rather than via satellite!

I've wondered why Vision Celestial looks like a low-resolution internet feed on Comcast 326, perhaps this explains why.
