It looks like WCRN-AM 830 is getting ready to roll out another new website.

It already looks much more professional than the former site. Let's hope they get this one right and it doesn't take as long as the last one to go live.
 
Don't hold your breath.. just someone playing around with a basic flash program... But WTAG is almost ready to roll out with a whole new website... My spy in Paxton say it will be more interactive, include more local news, streaming live webcam from the studio, and an even bigger audio archive. "Stay Tuned" as they say!
 
Well WTAG sure sounds like it will be more impressive. Then again I don't even live near Worcester, so I don't really care. I'm not even sure how I got here. lol

Whoever is "playing around" with the basic flash program has already greatly upgraded the professionalism so he/she must know something about a quality website. So I’ll reserve judgment until I see the finished site

As for a brand new website at WTAG; does that mean every Clear Channel News/Talk station around the country is unveiling new websites? Unless WTAG is bucking the “powers that be” Clear Channel News/Talk websites use the same format whether they’re in Worcester (Paxton), Providence, Charleston, W. Va., Rochester, N.Y. etc.
 
uggh, I hate websites that push out audio to the visitor upon landing on the site.

...as for WTAG's website, the current one is horrible. Some CC template/cookie cutter creation from hell. Cluttered doesn't even begin to describe it.
 
David, Glad to see you are impressed with a few names on the screen with a sound in the background. Yes, at least they were spelled right this time. There is no phone number, no way to contact the station, and if only we could figure out how to put the logo on there somewhere....Peter is already complaining that his picture isn't on there - and there is no link to advertise on his show. Back to the drawing board. ???
 
The website doesn't answer a question, can anyone? I hear Rich Teeter on with Blute. My question is what day is he on? It seems to be chnged every week. Maybe that is what they mean by Roving Radio Racontour? I heard him yesterday with the Mayor of Worcester and she was having fun going back and forth with him. He can be goofy at times but he makes the CRN morning show sound more like a morning show. Please tell me what day he is on.

You're right that they have switched him around so much that it can make your head spin. As of last week, he is on every Tuesday with Peter. I do agree that the show is much better with him.

As for the website, still coming soon and the former site did not list Rich Teeter's time slot anway. Probably because it changes so much that it would be out of date as soon as they added his name to the web site.
 
Anyone else have trouble streaming 'CRN? I can never get it to connect. I don't have this problem with any other station streaming.

Yes, I have trouble with their web stream, but only at work. I figured my employer had it blocked because I never have a problem at home, although I haven't tried the stream lately at home.

I don't even try to stream on CRN. Also thanks DaveZ for the info on Rich Teeter more than I get from the

DavidZ you were right, Teeter was on with Blute today ( Tuesday) although he said he was home asleep and his clone was on with Blute thanks to Obama and stem cells.
