Ms. Abernathy is actually a very knowledgable, competent, honorable and decent person, based on my personal interactions with her prior to her appointment to the Commission. She is an attorney and is well versed on many issues of communications policy, particularly broadband and wireless. However, I join you in not agreeing with her broadcasting policies. The real worry is that someone less moderate may be appointed to her seat, which is a Republican seat on the Commission. The devil you know is sometimes better than the devil you don't know....
