Those who worked in the Southeast in the days of outside measurements will note with some sorrow, Walt Van Nostrand passed a couple of weeks ago. There aren't a lot of stations Walt hadn't measured at one time or another.
 
I seem to remember that name....
Didn't his company also do the monthly frequency checks for many stations in Georgia, back in the 60's?
There always seemed to be a recent postcard, with your station's frequency deviation, taped on the rack next to the remote control.
