Another Omaha move-in!

Also search out KCSI and their prospective move from Red Oak to Treynor. This would put a city grade signal over most of the Omaha metro. Odds are Three Eagles will be buying this one if it is approved and simulcast 95.3 with the Lincoln station.

OK... so instead of just moving the KFRX stick closer to Omaha to cover both markets, they're pretty much taking 102.7 from Lincoln and sticking it in downtown Omaha. Seems to me that's pretty unfair to Lincoln. Not sure how they can justify that. But... at least from the looks of the signal maps it appears KFRX will still put a decent signal into Lincoln kind of like Z-92. Can't say the same about KRKR. Looks to me like they pretty much wanna shut off 95 Rock entirely and re-emerge as a brand new station/facility to co-locate in Omaha with KFRX. I can't imagine that with Z-92, CD105.9, and The Brew all originating from there they would continue as a classic rock station. Anyone think this is all about the aquistion of the Clear Channel stations? Shutting off 95 Rock would allow them to keep Kix, The Eagle, The Blaze (which also has a permit to move closer to Lincoln) as is and maybe do something different with 106.3. This keeps 4 FMs in Lincoln and a new Three Eagles/Chapin FM combo in Omaha avoiding an ownership cap issue in Lincoln.
