Another one bites the dust...at 92.3 NOW

According to the All Access story I linked below, he's leaving to look for a morning position somewhere. His quote was "...Looking ideally to explore mornings." Contact info and more are at All Access.

So the original NOW lineup is all gone with the departure of Chunky. Original lineup consisted of Lisa Paige, Tictak, Chunky and Buster... who have all left for other radio ventures.

Current lineup consists of:

Mornings: Lil Cee & Sarah Lee
Middays: Eutopia
Afternoons: Micki Gamez
Nights: [now vacant]
Late Nights: DJ Toro or other jocks/weekenders

It'll be interesting to see if anyone replaces Chunky. If not, bet on 92.3 becoming WFAN.

I wonder why he would leave market 1 in search of a morning position anywhere else. People are begging to work overnights in market 1!

The article in AllAccess states that Chunky's replacement starting Monday will be Zann. She was a morning co-host at WRDW in Philadelphia.
Back in late February, DCRTV, a site devoted to radio and TV in Washington D.C. had indicated there was a strong rumor that Chunky would be doing mornings at WPCG. Apparently that did not happen.

Money thats why Nick despite it being the number 1 market i doubt if it pays more too do overnights in NY as opposed too doing morning drive anywhere in the Top 25.
