Another One Bites the Dust!

Several media outlets today reported NBC's struggling drama, "Outlaw," has officially been canceled. The news comes on the heels of an announcement last week that production had been halted.

The demise of "Outlaw" marks three official cancellations thus far on primetime broadcast TV, with more sure to follow in the near future.

Unlike the other two series given pink slips -- "Lone Star" and "My Generation" -- this series, headlined by Jimmy Smits, is expected to continue airing until all first-run episodes are exhausted. NBC is shifting the series to the graveyard time slot of 8 p.m. (eastern) Saturdays.

As had been speculated, "Dateline" is taking over the 10 p.m. Friday slot, meaning NBC once again will have no scripted programming on the second least-watched night on broadcast TV.

Looks like NBC is scrapping the bottom of the barrel (and there's nothing there).

I'm expecting ROLLER DERBY to debut on NBC before Christmas.

Hey, wouldn't "Roller Derby" qualify as competitive reality programming? And we all know reality programming is cheap, bottom line.

I wouldn't watch Roller derby, but it does sound like something useful to fill the holiday season break.

The "New" Tim Conway Show! ;D
How about The Tim Conway Jr. Show? :D

His show on KFI (available online) is quite good and a show ala The O'Reilly Factor or Countdown would have me tuning in. :)

Listen on Thursdays for America's most baffling game, "What The Hell Did Jessie Jackson Say?"

Topless Roller Derby would be great! With a half time nude wrestling.

Yep! Sounds like a GREAT midnight lead in for an episode or two, then off to cable pay per view to see the rest! (now that comcast owns NBC! LOL!)

They'll be more big deal. Now let's discuss Paris Hilton.

It could work.
I'd watch Roller Derby.

What is old is new again.
...check out http://wftda.com/ when you can. Roller Derby has been making a phenomenal all-female amateur comeback in the last nine years, with over 500 municipal leagues and teams across the country, both flat-track and banked-track. And HDNet has occasionally run matches of the Los Angeles Derby Girls...

...there already was a Roller Derby reality series, Rollergirls on A&E in 2007...
