Another one bites the dust

Not surprised - Total Media's stations in Jackson, OH are mostly automated running syndicated content outside of some public affairs content and high school sports. I believe 96.7 in Jackson still has a local morning host, but the Country station 97.7 airs syndicated content so does "Pure Rock 98.7" which is the sister station to 105.5 in Athens which now is branded as "Pure Rock" also.

Total Media also just closed on the purchase of stations in Waverly Ohio (Q 100.1 - CHR, 100.9 Cash FM - Country and Christian Teaching/Southern Gospel AM 660 WXIC/95.9 FM). 100.1 and 100.9 are also syndicated content and I wonder how long the few "live and local" personalities on AM 660 remain. I noticed this past weekend "Total Media" is already simulcasting Ohio State football coverage from Pure Rock 98.7 on Country 100.9 WXIZ Waverly.
