I heard today that longtime news anchor Channing Smith is leaving WIVK after 35 years. He was WNML sportstalk and said something about going to Michigan.
 
His wife is a doctor in Detroit so he's leaving to join her, according to what he said on the Phil Show. His broadcast future is uncertain.
Ed Rupp also retired last week; Pete Michaels adds the Cumulus cluster to his traffic client list.
