Memphis City Schools is looking for a General Manager for WQOX 88.5 FM & Cable 19 TV.
MCS is also looking a Communications Manager.

They are also still looking for a chief engineer, only working with part-timers/ contractors now. Internally, they may need someone to take them to the next level. I think as far as Paul Davis and the rest of their on-air crew, would stay put due contract issues...but who knows?

Wait a minute. WQOX has PAID announcers? Isn't this supposed to be a classroom? They're hiring airstaff?

With tax money? Sheesh. Another reason I live in the county. Plus, what does the city need with two radio stations. Take WQOX HD and put WYPL on the HD-2.
