Another option for Spanish music.

For those of you who like Spanish music, WNDZ AM 750 Portage, Indiana has a brokered Spanish program on Saturday mornings and I believe Sunday mornings as well. The show starts at sign on which is currently 7:00 A.M., and I believe it goes till 10:00. They may have other Spanish programming during the week as well.

I found the Spanish programing on WNDZ-750 AM diail around Oct. 2nd.

The daily Spanish programing starts Mon.-Fri. at 10am-2:30pm, then again from 3pm-4pm.

On Oct. 7th, I heard a childrens show from 11am-12noon, but when I tuned in a week later it wasn't on.

WNDZ's signal is loud and clear in Milwaukee, and has 15,000 watts of power. Sundays at 4pm-sign off, there is a soccer game in Spanish with bits of Spanish music.

Does WNDZ have a website, or not?

WNDZ does not have a website. Newsweb only has 1 website, and that's for the Nine FM trimulcast. Otherwise, they don't use websites, since all their other stations have brokered programming, and that programming can change from day to day.

There is going to be a shake up soon, as 820 moves away from Catholic talk on November 25th. So, perhaps, Air America may move to 820? Then, what about 850? Stay tune.

It would make sense for WCPT's format to be on 820, as it covers the entire Chicago market, plus it would be heard in Milwaukee, unlike on 850, where it has a null toward Milwaukee to protect 860, and 850 is barely heard in most of the Chicago market. I live in NW Indiana, and 850 barely comes in.
