Another piece in the KPNW puzzle

Not sure I'd call Marty legacy talent, other than he'd been in the market several years ago during a consecutive run. It's been something like twelve years since he was on the air in Seattle. Given the population churn in the market and the mirage that was AAA in Seattle, trying to sell Marty to agencies or local advertisers likely would be a challenge.

And maybe that's where this all leads, a pure 25-54 agency demo play. I just don't see trying to bring KMTT back from the dead as being enough by itself.
Marty was a key part of 95.7 the past few years. I’d say that he’s pretty recognizable.

Marty was on KZOK (I was also DJing there at the same time as Marty, pre-Classic Rock) 41 years ago and spent time at KJR-AM (when it still had a music format) in the late 80s before moving on the midday show at KXRX, followed by many years at KMTT and then a few years at KJR-FM (now KJEB) through much of the 2010s. That's a very impressive run and span.

A lot of people have left or passed on in 41 years. For that matter, a lot of people have left or passed in twelve years.
